will need to have their 44Net subnet allocations changed because of the<br>
realignment of subnets to counties in your state. I did not email anyone<br>
with a current BGP assignment or those who are special situations that<br>
will be handled separately. Thank you to those who have responded over<br>
the past two weeks. We need to get this done soon (how does the Ides of<br>
March sound) so that the proper routing is in place. The following have<br>
not responded yet by requesting a new subnet:<br>

What are the steps for requesting a new subnet and getting things set up <br>
for routing?<br>

- sign into your account at <a href="http://portal.ampr.org">http://portal.ampr.org</a><br>
- go to this page <a href="https://portal.ampr.org/networks.php?a=request&id=654">
https://portal.ampr.org/networks.php?a=request&id=654</a> (CT)<br>
or go to <a href="https://portal.ampr.org/networks.php?a=request&id=651">https://portal.ampr.org/networks.php?a=request&id=651</a> (RI)<br>
- do not change the Parent Network<br>
- choose a netmask of /29, /28, /27, etc based on desired addresses<br>
- put in the description box your call and county (eg N2NOV - Richmond Co.)<br>
- do not change End User<br>
- check Radio and IPIP Tunnel boxes (only choose Direct if you want a BGP)<br>
- put in the Notes field a description of your current or planned use<br>
- click Send<br>

After you receive back my approval and assignment of the new subnet numbers:<br>

- click <a href="https://portal.ampr.org/gateways_manage.php?a=addGateway">https://portal.ampr.org/gateways_manage.php?a=addGateway</a><br>
- Put your callsign in Title field<br>
- choose either Gateway Hostname for your DDNS-type entry<br>
-or-<br>
- choose Gateway IP to enter your static public IP address<br>
- enter your planned system information under Notes field<br>
- click Save button<br>
- select Network To Add and choose your new subnet (not someone else's)<br>
- click Add Network button<br>
- email your desired DNS entries to n2nov@n2nov.net<br>

- click Edit link next to your current gateway<br>
