Your allocation needs to have several pieces in place to work properly. These items are: - updated 44net portal allocation (after reallocation of subnets) - public gateway IP entry (dynamic or fixed IP for encapped routes) - DNS entries at the portal for IP resolution to FQDN Contact me directly for help in resolving these items at n2nov at n2nov.net For those who have a problem setting up the proper IPIP encapping at their routers, we now have a ham-only VPN service using Wireguard on a particular Mikrotik hapLite router. Ask me about the particulars to get this going. We also have statewide HamGate systems for mail, bulletin and NTS routing if you don't have or need additional forwarding partners. Whilst it is true that we have a solution for a particular Mikrotik device, we also have a solution for pretty much anything that uses Wireguard. Current known working devices include; gl.inet V2 routers Mikrotik hAP Lite pfSense V2.5 opnSense Any Wireguard client on Linux/Mac/Windows Using a router device will not only allow you to connect to the 44net but also to serve a local subnet. Connecting directly from a Linux/Mac/Windows box would normally allow only a single IP to be serviced unless said machine is configured as a router. Wireguard has been chosen because of it's low surface area and SSL like key exchange. We are also able to overcome issues of NAT and vendor provided dynamic IP addresses.
