[HamGateNJ] KY2D Intro from Morristown

Thanks for the clarification Jim. Now that I think about it I could
manually connect to W2LI-2 via Net 44 and then connect to KY2D-4. So what
you're saying about the route propagation makes perfect sense.

Hi Dan,

Brian was incorrect. I was never running anything except BPQ32. However,
there's no nailed up rout to KY2D-4 so it doesn't show up in the destination
tables. I used to run it on 144.930 and access was through WA2IMS but IMS
stopped working so I moved to 145.050 with access through W2LI-2. When it
was via WA2IMS, his node called KY2D-4 every 5 minutes so the white pages
were always refreshed and the route to KY2D-4 was propagated.

Try connecting to W2LI-2 then from there connect to KY2D-4.

And, if anyone knows how, or wants to help figure out how, I'd really like
to be able to set up a permanent link between W2LI-2 and KY2D-4 without
going to the hack of LI calling me every 5 minutes.

73 Jim
