Remember to put your email in the notes. When I see the request, I will be
in contact with you ASAP and we can get things going. If you are going to
be acting as your own gateway, then you will need to enter that information
on the portal under "Networks" and then "My gateways". If your local state
HamGate will act as your VPN gateway, then I will handle it from my end
after you go into your subnet allocation, create and then send me the
Unique ID field that is generated.

Either way, wWe will still need to talk about your DNS entries before
you set them up so that proper routing can occur, VPN or not.

Login to your existing account
https://portal.ampr.org/login

To claim your DNS callsign/subdomain:
https://portal.ampr.org/subdomains
Click the "Request a subdomain" button.
On the next page select "ampr.org" as the main domain and enter your
callsign as the subdomain you wish to create. When you click the "Create
request" button, this will create a ticket requesting creation of the
subdomain. Once approved, your subdomain will be created and
(importantly) any existing DNS records that may already under the
subdomain will be automatically pulled in.

To create your new DNS Records:
Under https://portal.ampr.org/subdomains, locate your callsign subdomain
and click on the "Actions" icon. Then click the "Add a resource record"
icon for each DNS record item needed. DNS records that you can create are:
A
AAAA (for IPv6 records in the future)
CNAME
DNSKEY
DS
LOC
MX
NS
PTR
RP
SRV
TXT
As always, feel free to call me any evening at 917-991-0356 (except
